Tickets are now on sale for the Vancouver premier of Helvetica, a documentary film by Gary Hustwit. A feature film about a typeface… who would have guessed?
The evening begins with a screening of the film followed by a Q&A session with the Director, Jim Rimmer and Douglas Coupland. Aardman Animation, the folks behind the wonderful Wallace & Gromit films, have a new short coming out. It’s titled ‘The Pearce Sisters‘ and, rather surprisingly, it’s not animated using stop-motion techniques. [via CR Blog]
