Dave Chapelle’s Block Party opens on March 3rd and looks to be a pretty good film. The movie, directed by Michel Gondry, follows Dave Chapelle as he organizes an incredible block party for a Brooklyn neighborhood.
On a related note, the film’s one-sheet is pretty sweet.
Continuing with the music theme, here is the best new music of 2005 according to Pitchfork. Top on my list of ‘albums I need to get’ is Illinois by Sufjan Stevens.
