About the Author
I began working with the web back in the early 90’s while attending the University of Calgary. Back then I figured I wanted to be a scientist, got a degree in Geophysics and began working for PanCanadian Petroleum. The work was good, the pay was better, but it just didn’t feel right. So, I packed my bags and made the trip to Vancouver. That was 1999.
Since arriving in Vancouver, I’ve said good-bye to Geophysics and have immersed myself into the worlds of graphic and interactive design and have worked with organizations such as Crystal Decisions, Brandever Strategy, Business Objects, Free the Children, Klear Communication, Multiactive Software (now Maximizer Software) and Victory Gaming. Currently, I’m working for IBM doing interactive media design with their User Experience Design team. The postings on this site are my own and don’t necessarily represent IBM’s positions, strategies or opinions (hat tip to the lawyers).
When I’m not working I’m usually hanging out with my beautiful wife, mountain biking on the North Shore or out of town on a road trip.
Feel free to say hi.
About Inkbase
In late 1999, I started Inkbase as a creative space and online journal (that’s what we called them back then). I messed around with it for the next few years but didn’t really dedicate any significant time to it until early 2005. Since then, it has been full steam ahead and there is plenty more to come. To keep up to date, why not subscribe to my newsfeeed? While you’re at it, you might as well subscribe to my Flickr photo feed (RSS 2.0) as well.
