Continuing with the theme of upcoming films, the new one from Michel Gondry looks very interesting.

I’m a big fan of Wes Anderson’s previous films and I’m really looking forward to the release of his latest. Check out the trailer.

Tickets are now on sale for the Vancouver premier of Helvetica, a documentary film by Gary Hustwit. A feature film about a typeface… who would have guessed?

The evening begins with a screening of the film followed by a Q&A session with the Director, Jim Rimmer and Douglas Coupland. Aardman Animation, the folks behind the wonderful Wallace & Gromit films, have a new short coming out. It’s titled ‘The Pearce Sisters‘ and, rather surprisingly, it’s not animated using stop-motion techniques. [via CR Blog]
